Peter is a Lifeforming Trained Coach and Life Design educator who partners with clients to gain clarity on their life purpose, pursue rewarding careers and build legacies that impact multiple generations. Peter provides the relationship, accountability, perspective and challenge needed to help turn client’s dreams into reality. He believes that coaching should not only make people good at what they do, but also at who they are.
Peter enjoys facilitating “Designing Your Life” workshops as a career and life design coach to international audiences both in-person and virtually. Additionally, Peter has designed and contributed towards experiential learning programs in Africa and North America that contribute to the development of intercultural competence, moral imagination, and socially responsible leadership. Examples of such programs include the Leadership Entrepreneurship and Achievement Program (LEAP), Discovery Africa, the Social Innovation Challenge, the Hansen Summer Institute for Leadership and International Cooperation and the Mandela Washington Fellowship.
Peter has taught leadership and management courses at the International Leadership University-Kenya and in the Leadership Minor at the University of San Diego. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Nairobi. After obtaining his Master’s Degree in Leadership Studies at the International Leadership University-Kenya, he proceeded to earn a PhD in Leadership Studies from the University of San Diego. When not spending time coaching, Peter enjoys socializing with friends, biking, and scouring the internet for tech innovations that are impacting how we live and work
